Transitional Book Face - Printed In Dutch by H.C.A. Thieme

Great looking text face, can't seem to ID it.

No date info either, comes from a dutch book titled "In Columbia" by J. Hendrik van Balen.

Old Style No. 7 / Bruce Oldstyle or some variation of the style...

Thanks! I realised this thread http://fontid.co/629/text-type-from-book-printed-in-the-netherlands-in-1870s?show=629#q629 was referring to the same typeface.

Interesting how the letterpress artifacts give a completely different character.
Yes! Also remember that the digital version is just one interpretation of one size of type. The smaller sizes of Old Style No. 7 might be considerably different than the one used as a model for digitization.
