Around 1936 Italian Barber Shop Sign

In 1936, this sign had less to do with a typeface than it did with a signpainter. I am fairly certain it was handlettered.

Perhaps inspired by City (which dates from 1930)?

It’s letters aren’t squared-off enough and the R is wrong, but the Google web font Arvo is also very similar.
