Keep in mind that in the 1960s, you’d be dealing with a phototypesetting version of the face, and that your source seems a bit blown out (reversing type and transferring film to video tends to blur details).

I can’t find anything closer than Candida.

I agree.
Thanks, I have settled on Candida Bold, but have changed the lower case "g" to a font with a closed loop.
