Would like to know the name, designer, publisher and release date of this typeface.

Buddy Esquire, the king of flyers, frequently used it for his flyers.

Solotype called it “Brawley” in the their catalog of 4,147 display typefaces.

Since Dan X. Solo has a reputation of renaming typefaces this is probably not the original name of the typeface.

It looks familiar, but the closest thing I could dig up is Candy by Face.

This website does a good job of cross-referencing the Solotype catalog with alternate typeface names, but there is only a single entry for Brawley—no alternate names or sources given.
