Google's Alphabet: Not Lineto's Circular, so what?

Matches no font I know. It’s very likely a custom mark. The ‘a’ is a little unfinished in my opinion — and that of Tobias Frere-Jones.

Incidentally, Circular is used for text on the website. And another typeface is used for the headline.

Thanks Stewf. I saw the rest of the page in Circular, but wondered why the logo looked odd.
