I managed to find the image of the installation originating from Yale School of Art’s 2014 Graphic Design MFA Thesis Show, entitled "New Business." (Sources: 1, 2, 3)
Other than that, I have no leads. Perhaps you guys can find further information from here.
Hard to be sure, given this image, but it looks a lot like Unica to me. There are two digitizations (Neue Haas Unica, and LL Unica), neither of which was available at the time of the show, so maybe it was a student revival project.
Thanks to Faux Icing’s link to the exhibition website we can see a closer look at the typeface. It’s a pretty close match ot Lineto’s LL Unica.
More text (albeit tiny and outlined).
You mentioned the two digital versions of Unica that are currently available commercially, but there are/were more, including Scangraphic’s unauthorized and discontinued one, and a couple of semi-private ones.
Bright Grotesk is similar
The 2014 MFA graduates are listed on this page, but a quick look through what information I could find on them did not reveal the name of this type design.
