That appears to be a slightly customized Windsor.

… or maybe not customized at all: Bitstream’s Light looks like a match.

Thank you so much

Again, thanks. : )

The link actually leads to... Windsor! I really cannot see any differrence between the actual logotype and the same word typed on Windsor Standard Light. At least in the MyFonts website.

Yes, Windsor Light is a perfect match! :) Sorry for the confusion.

I first looked at regular Windsor – which doesn’t have that little step joint at the bottom at V. That’s why I wrote “slightly customized”. I then saw that Windsor Light has this detail, at least in Bitstream’s digitization*, and added a comment to that end.

*) I don’t see it in the metal original, which curiously wasn’t named Windsor Light, but rather Saint George.

As usual, thanks again. The Saint George is truly a beautiful specimen.

I am having problems trying to find another example of Windsor in a book of the same publishing house. This time, it's the title of a collection within its catalogue. It seems to be just in the middle of Windsor Light and Windsor Bold. And as far as I can see, it is not a match for Windsor Roman either. I am enclosing an image file.

Take note that there are several digital Windsor families. The range of styles as well as the style names aren’t always the same, not to mention character sets and design details.

The style you are showing is not included in Bitstream’s Windsor (the Light has a much narrower C). It looks like Windsor EF Light by Elsner+Flake or Windsor Pro Regular by Monotype.

Thanks again. : )
