Found on synthesizer manual from 80s. Sans-serif, maybe bold weight

Font ID websites fail to give anything close.

Would be great to know what this is, or something extremely close.

Mark Simonson IDs this as “Chelmsford, produced by Addressograph-Multigraph (AM) in the seventies for their phototypesetting machine”.

Similar but not exact match: You could try the latin subset of "Iris UPC" a Thai font designed by Unity Progress and offered under license from Microsoft with some versions of Windows.
