Is this National Volunteering Week font a real font or tweaked version?

I found one other graphic from the campaign that uses the same typeface, but no luck IDing it yet.

The style is known as interlock, and it may be part of the typeface itself (the nested letters are served up as liguture pairs in OpenType) or it could be that the designer simply altered a few letters to emulate the effect.

If you use "interlock" as a search term on MyFonts, you'll find dozens of typefaces with similar nested letters.
