Seems most likely handwritten to me. This won’t be a surprise to you, but I immediately thought of 3IP’s antique scripts and Dear Sarah, but none feel as natural as this. More in this Fontlist.

Your Fontlist was the first place I looked. ;)

I don’t know why, but to me it seemed as if there is a connection between glyphs between the ‘e’ and the ‘s’. You could be correct.
That 's' does seem very familiar… I’ll keep looking.
Me too – when I post a request in a font ID forum it’s because I don’t want to waste too much time searching in case someone can identify it on sight.
