I Googled the book and found an image on Amazon.com. From that cover art, I was able to ID the font Ty Stencil Pro Normal. It looks like the type printed on the edge was same but with the stencil gaps filled inl.

Good find, but the type on the edge is different. Note the angle of the weight contrast. Feels more like Gill Facia.
