Dear Users,

I am looking for info about this typeface. The printed book comes from the J.J.Cremer "Romantische Werken" collection. Any idea?

Thanks

I can't help with the history aspect, but I think a modern interpretation of this style of typeface would be Old Style 7.

Thanks!
beautiful font, how did you find each letter layed out like that too?

Two others in this style, derived from 18th-century Scottish type, are Foundry Wilson

and (related to a lesser extent) FF Clifford.
