What is that font used on a Japanese Honda commercial from the mid 1980's?

It's made in phototype and it looked very similar to Aurora-Grotesk to me but it doesn't match. Can you tell me what the font looked like to you, please? Thank you.

Filmotype Gaucho is a strong candidate, but it has yet to be digitized.

Part of the G-series of FIlmotype faces.

Thanks. I have it an OPTI digitized version of it.

The OPTI version is more an unauthorized clone than a true digitization.

Font Diner is making its way through the Filmotype catalog; they may get to Gaucho one of these days....
