This looks like a type of handwritten script font. The larger picture says thankful in all lower case. The font was on a sign I purchased.
To me this font looks like the dreaded Comic Sans . It appears on the cover of a Laserdisc - produced in 1988/89 and manufactured and released in 1990.

This font looks like blackletter font, something of the Gothic type.
The font draws comparisons to a more simplistic Fraktur, please could anyone help me identify.
