This lettering is on the Vitrolite glass dials and advertising banners that I'm restoring.

You got the key word in your question. This is lettering, not type. If accuracy is important I would hire a lettering artist, not try to find a font.

The numerals and lettering are incised slightly into the surface, so we have cleaned the pieces and we're now repainting with (very expensive!) Glass paint, so no signpainter is needed. The city historian is interested in in knowing the name of the style, if it has one. I've spent a couple of hours going through letter styles, and haven't found anything close. Thanks.
I'd call the GREEN style art deco. The numerals are sometimes called octagonal.
