Dear Font ID, A friend of mine bought this font (from eBay in France) but we have no clue what it is called or where it is from. Neither did the seller.

As you can see the W is not original. Also this was sold among a set Adam, Paris handle letters (gilding tools for bookbinders) so we may assume they are Parisian in origin?

I tried Identifont however this gave no result that came close. Does anyone have a clue? Thank you so much.

Similar to a style of related typefaces called “Runic”. Light Runic shown in this 1899 ATF catalog, is close, but not it.

Thank you Stewf, it does seem pretty close. Maybe ATF was inspired? The hunt continues...
