Printed in Oslo. I’m looking to identify the specific cut, hoping the italics will help.

This is Linotype Garamond no. 1.

It is based on Stempel Garamond, as is the more common Garamond no. 2.

Hey Sander,

That looks like Stempel Garamond. The digital versions are based on a larger size.

It looks correct for the roman, but the italic seem different from Stempel in the samples I've seen. The n/m in particular, and the capital N which is distinctly flat on the bottom in Stempel. There are few italic caps in the book, but the N looks like a slanted version of the roman.

ATF Garamond may be closer, but still not a perfect match (lowercase italic k, for instance).
