hello! i really like the font used for the titles of the stories in argosy magazine in the 1920s - here's a link to an issue of it for more examples.

Sorry, but what you posted are examples of hand lettering, not typesetting (look closely at the repeating letters—-they are not exact matches to one another, and you don't get that kind of variation in a metal typeface).

Most display type of that era was created by lettering artists, not typographers.

 

Tilda has a similar vibe.
