Here’s a larger image.

The book was co-edited and designed by Ludovic Balland, who also is a type designer. Chances are that this is custom work – it looks like a customized, widened variant of his Stanley.

The proportions of “Duplex” are pretty close to Griffon. Adding Stanley’s serifs to Griffon would almost bring you there.

For the lines below (Architects / Rethinking Housing), I feel that NaN Tragedy has similar qualities, among readily available fonts.

Ah ok, I didn't know that he designed it, I can definitely see the Stanley framework now. Thanks for your detailed reponse and recommendations, much obliged.
