Serifed face. Again, it was used on the back cover of a French book published in 1981.
Serifed typeface in the upper case. Featured on the cover of "Mémoires D'Hadrian", a historical novel published in France in 1951.
Serifed typeface used in the spine of the books belonging to Découvertes, a collection of monographies that was launched in 1986 by Gallimard.
Light typeface (a distorted, compressed DIN, perhaps?) in the upper case used as the current logotype of a hospital. (Truly sorry for the lack of definition.)

Serifed, apparently compressed text in the upper case. Used in the spine of a French book published in 1981. Could this be Vendôme Compressed?
