Hello everyone,

This is an example of a serifed face used on the back cover of a French book published in 1981.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for your time and help.

This is Times New Roman, likely set with a Linotype machine or photocomposition with Linotype’s design, as it comes closest to their digital version of the font, Times. (Compare the two.)
