A font that is only the silouette of the letter, like the "bouma". I think it came in two styles roman and italic and was free.

Two serif typefaces on Fiorini’s Roman and Munich labels, 1890-1920
The typeface under "da bologna" of the Roma label is something "Romanisch." Other two unknown. Answers will be greatly appreciated!

The distinctive pointed R on the third line (ROMA) should be findable; I know I've seen it but I can't place it. Have you tried Identifont?

The typeface under "da Bologna" was imitated in America under the name De Vinne.
