Found this on Flickr via Hylbrand-Jan Hibma’s Logo Loco account (link to image). I’m curious whether the type that reads Eichbaum is a one off logotype or an existing typeface. Any leads would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Addi

I’m pretty sure that it’s a one-off logotype.

Some of the so-called Neudeutsch typefaces from around 1900 have similar concave stems, see e.g. Wittelsbach.

Thanks for the reply Florian. I’m a big fan of these Neudeutsch types but haven’t yet seen one this hefty. Good news for me it’s a one off too; I’ve been chipping away at a typeface based off of the logo for over a year now and was struck with fear that I may have been treading paths already tread.
