Sorry, not finding a match.

Given the date of the piece and the medium, I'd say it is likely hand-rendered/sculpted, and has little to do with typesetting.

At least one of Myra's sons is an artist, and may have created it himself—I'd reach out to him and inquire as to the source of the plaque.

Thanks, kthomps5. The point you make about it being as sculpture is right, it was Matcham Skipper who created the plaque, who unfortunately has since passed away. I suspect he was using a typeface as a model for this, as his other work is very freeform and nothing like this text.
I was hoping someone might know of a typeface that is similar to what he created here.

Whether it was Matcham or one of his apprentices, it is hghly unlikely that they typeset the copy and then used that as a guide for the sculpting the letters—this was freehanded/hand lettered from the get-go.

I can find you high-waisted serif faces in a similar style—like Buket Roman Basic—but they won't match all of the characteristics of the original (like the sloped sides of the M).

And the smaller upper- and lowercase text is not quite the same style (its M's center point does not reach the baseline, for instance, like the M in MYRA). It vaguely resembles Windsor and related typefaces, but again is not a match on all counts (like the W).

Also similar for the latter: Clockmaker, Mexborough

Buket Roman Basic is not a bad substitute, thank you.
