This article states that the lettering was repurposed from the previous sign (shown in your second photograph), which dates from the late 19th century. That means the letters have more to do with signpainting/woodcarving than they do with typesetting.

Vaguely resembles 19th century typefaces like English Runic Extended, English Latin (Fann Street Foundry, 1877)

Similar: Ivory (based on the 19th century typeface Celtic Initials)
