I am looking for the fonts of the top two lines in the image attached. -- The script font and the font with the sort-of squared off letter S (Cele Johnson in photo)

The face used in the name is Ultra Modern, designed in 1928 by C. Douglas McMurtrie.

Sorry, having some trouble adding the image...it's in Jaspert, Berry and Johnson's Encyclopedia...

Red Rooster offers a digital version of Ultra Modern.

The script is Coronet Bold.

I’ve seen the thick-thin sans from 1930s specimens but I don’t have my books with me. Maybe someone will ID it before I get to them.
