Perhaps a distorted setting of ITC Berkeley Oldstyle Book...

Thanks Kevin! I had defaulted to AR California as it was the closest font I could find in my library but ITC Berkeley Oldstyle is definitely the one.

You were good, then. AR Californian, if it is what I think it is, is merely another name for Berkeley Oldstyle (see the “Related Typefaces” when you click through the link).
