Can anyone help identify the font used for the 'FORNO' sign on this storefront in Campo de' Fiori, Rome? I've attached an image for reference.

Sorry, not finding a match. Depending on the age of the sign, it may very well be custom lettering.

 

Citadel, by Tobias Frere-Jones, is the closest I could find among digitial typefaces. The proportions would have to be adjusted, and the F edited, but it mimics the general form of your sample.
