I can tell you that the article is from a c.2020 issue of Das Wetter. I don’t recognize the typeface. The magazine nowadays uses Union on their website, but that’s not it.

Many thanks for adding the source, I couldn't find it anywhere.

I think it could be 29LT Kaff by Swiss Typefaces, which seems to be discontinued sadly.

29LT Kaff was a release by 29LT, and made as an Arabic companion to Suisse Int’l. It was later merged into the release by Swiss Typefaces, as Suisse Int’l Arabic, and is still available as such. The Latin part was always equivalent to Suisse Int’l. However, that Latin part was redesigned in 2013. The 2010 version has those diagonal terminals.

Ah that's great, many thanks for the insight. I had noticed it was very similar to Suisse and Antarctica. I personally prefer the diagonal terminals! Oh well.

You’re welcome!

You could ask at Swiss Typefaces whether the old version is available for licensing. Just because the design was revised doesn’t mean the old files were purged.
